 FAQs

  • To join you must have a 2.5 GPA or higher and have at least two semesters of school left. You do not have to be a STEM major, but need to support women in STEM and our Ideals and Objectives. You also can not be a part of another social or professional greek organization.

  • We highly encourage attending at least one Info Session to make sure our sorority is what you are looking for. As for events, attend as many as you can or wish. We encourage attendance at as many as possible but understand that college is busy and you may have conflicts. Please send all conflict information to the recruitment chairs!

  • Candidacy is the process by which new potential members of our organization learn about our sisterhood, history, and traditions. During this period, we strive to get to know you better through one-on-one conversations with each sister and events throughout the semester. The 6 to 8-week process is for you to determine if the sorority is a good fit for you and for the sorority to determine if you are a good fit for us.

  • The time commitment for our candidates is around 10 hours per week including a mandatory weekly meeting on Sundays, along with 12 required volunteer hours. There are also a sisterhood retreat and week of events with the dates announced well in advance.

  • Dues vary from semester to semester but are around $300-$400 a semester. We offer fundraising opportunities and payment plans to help with costs.

  • As a sister, you will need to attend Sunday meetings, a sisterhood retreat, and one to two events per week. We have an attendance policy that allows for some excused absences. You will also be required to complete 12 hours of service. Sisters are also encouraged to participate in the Panhellenic Community by attending percent of purchases, speaker events, or other fun events.

  • We are an associate member of the Panhellenic Association at NC State. We do not particpate in the PA recruitment process, but instead hold our own!
